One of my all time favorite covers is Dwight Yoakam's cover of Elvis' Suspicious Minds. I also liked his many covers of Buck Owens songs on his new album "Dwight Sings Buck." Back in his earlier days, he also did a lot of other great covers: Honky Tonk Man, Claudette, Always Late With Your Kisses, Little Sister, Heartaches By The Number, Ring Of Fire, and others. He always adds his own flair to his covers.
A great version indeed. Have you ever listened to acoustic.com? Dwight and an acoustic guitar. One awesome album!

I'm a fan of most everything he's done. I can only think of a few songs I don't particularly like, and that's out of the entire collection (I think I have all or almost all of it).
