XTC and REM at the B&L Warehouse, Athens, Ga., 1981. REM opened for XTC and XTC blew everyone away they were so good, and so loud. Too bad they stopped touring.
heh
I was 11 years old that year.
I did see the Stones many times, but the first time was not until 1970.
Those were the days. I think my ticket cost $5.
State Fair of Texas -Farrin Young - My first concert,I was 12 - he signed my dads belt and was very nice.
Six Flags - John Connally - I was 18, The most memorable - his performance brought tears to my eyes,a great great talent, not enough recognition.
Reunion Arena Dallas Tx. - AC/DC - I remember it was awesome but I don't remember much beyond that ! LOL
Over the years I've seen him between 25-30 times. I highly recommend seeing Buffett. The tailgating before the concert is something you won't soon forget. I've been to so many concerts over the years I don't remember half of them. I'll hear song on the radio and I'll be, "oh yeah, I saw them/him/her."
I saw The Cult at my first concert in 1990. Although they are not one of the best-known bands, they put on a great show. My older brother took his fiancee, one of my good friends, and me.
