This is sort of a spinoff of the "Favorite Song" thread. Is there a song you really don't care for, but it brings back a good memory/event/time period?

For me, it would be "Heat of the Moment" by Asia. I hate the song itself, but I get a big smile when I hear it, even today. When the song was out in the summer of '82, I was 17 and started dating my first-love then. Very, very good time period in my life! The song was played constantly that summer. So I guess you can both love and hate a song at the same time.

Well, really can't think of a song I hate, but the song "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" (by Steam) was the last song that played on the radio before my Mom had her stroke. I hate the thought that it was the last song she heard, but when it comes on the radio now I smile because I believe it's her way of saying, "Hi."

When will I see you you again. By Baby face.
If you came back from heaven. By Lori Morgan

My sister in-law picked both songs for my brother. I like the songs but very hard to listen to!

That song.... Don't know what you got till it's gone by Cinderella (I was a teen in the 80's)!!!

Thanks for schooling me as i had not a clue that they wrote that song. Just something about ''Agent 99'' err Karen Carpenter makes me yearn for the days of Z-ROCK back in the 80's and 90's.........
