I’ve been on a Cranberries fix lately, going back and listening to all their records all the way to Roses. I forgot how good this band was. I remember the first song I ever learned to play on guitar was “Zombie”. And Dolores voice, so powerful and with that accent, I used to die for her voice. I read that they are about to release a greatest hits revisited with acoustic versions backed up by the Irish Chamber Orchestra. The album contains 3 new songs. My description of their sound was “a female fronted The Cure, if The Cure decided to cover U2 songs”. Anyhow, is interesting how we tend to forget about these amazing bands from the 90’s. I guess there were so many great bands in that decade. Clip of the new song below:

Dolores voice is from out of this world, but it the lyrics that bring on that emotion! It's a Irish thing, the pain that the Irish felt for a 1000 years

I agree. That's why I also love Flogging Molly. There is something about Dave King's voice that just grabs me. An I'm not Irish, but I can feel the pain.

Yeah loved this band, they were a great, underrated rock band from the 1990s.

I zoned out to "I still do" on cassette, many times. I might have to go look that up now.

Agree. I hust realized I wrote this before Dolores passed away. That makes me truly sad.
