Hello:
While at Burning Man this year (2017), I heard a dance/pop song--sung by a woman--about her lost/missing love and included lyrics about going to the moon (or maybe space)? Any thoughts?
Thanks, JS

Hey hhwdavid:
Thanks for replying, and for the song recommendation. The one I’m looking for, however, is a pop/dance song that was released relatively recently (i.e., during the past year or two). I’m not exactly sure, but I think the woman singing it sounds kind of like Sia (instead of Barbara Streisand). Thanks again.
Best,
JS

If you remember even just a few lyrics, I'd suggest Google. I can't tell you how many times I've caught a snippet of a cool-sounding song and found it just by Googling the tiny bit of words I recall from it. I was in the grocery store awhile back, heard a song that literally made me stop and listen (the track was so catchy and unique), and by the time I got home I still remembered 'I don't even need your love but you treat me like a stranger'. I typed that in, along with the word 'lyrics', and up popped the song.

The only song with that theme that I can think of is "To The Moon And Back" by Savage Garden, but that was 20 years ago.

My fave "moon" song is the classic from 1965 by Jonathan King...
"Everyone's Gone to the Moon"

Try looking up the list of acts and narrowing it down to the artist, then look at their songs.
