Hey guys, In addition to the real job, I amateur scout baseball games around my area. And am frequently leaving games around 10PM after 6 hours at the park. Only to face a 100 mile drive back to the house while being mentally and physically exhausted.
I'm building a YouTube playlist for those late night drives and am looking for suggestions for some carry me home music
Some of my favorites already on the list are:
Rush - Temple of Syrinx
Sabbath- War Pigs
Zeppelin-Dazed and confused
Springsteen- Rosalita
Meatloaf- Bat out of Hell
Golden Earing- Radar Love
Moody Blues- Question
Bob Seger- Turn the page
Doors- Roadhouse Blues
Molly Hatchet- Flirting with disaster

Good list. I would add "Statesboro Blues" by Allman Brothers to replace Bob Seger's "Turn the Page".
BTO-Roll on Down the Highway
George Thorogood and the Destroyers-Move it on over
J J Cale-They call me the breeze
Sam and Dave-Hold on I'm Coming
Anything just about by Chuck Berry-Maybelline....
Highway Star- Deep Purple
Ten years after-I'm going home
Quicksilver messenger service-Who do you love?
Iron Butterfly-In-a-gadda-da-vida
The Allman Brothers-In memory of Elizabeth Reed
Meatloaf: Paradise by the Dashboard Light
Jonathan Richmand and the Modern Lovers: (Got The) Radio On
Private Lightning: Physical Speed
Private Lightning: When You’re Laughing
Taj Majal: Statesboro Blues
The Doors: LA Woman
Judas Priest - Heading Out To The Highway
Foreigner - Rev On The Redline
Billy Idol - Blue Highway
Tom Petty - Running Down a Dream
George Thorogood - Gear Jammer
Van Halen - Panama
Van Halen - D.O.A
Led Zeppelin - Trampled Underfoot
Bob Seger - Roll Me Away
Sniff'n The Tears - Driver's Seat
The title of this song is actually “Roadrunner.” Agreed that no such list is complete with this one, though.
Thanks; I couldn’t think of the title. There is a typo, too. Should be Jonathan Richman, not Richmand.
Another appropriate song got jogged loose:
Jr. Walker and the All Stars - I’m a Roadrunner. This song was playing when my first car’s odo turned over to 200,000* miles, exactly as I drove past an automotive salvage yard. The engine had been rebuilt twice.
* It read 00000 for its third time, because there were only 5 numeric panels.
