Maybe talented guitar players will return to avenge 15 years of underachieving in the rock world.

Fair enough, go to your concert. Just please refrain from singing afterwards. Those songs are highly contagious and I would appreciate not being in the middle of an eighties revival of epidemic proportions. First time around was bad enough.

While I am sure they will play some of their hits from the 80's, Duran Duran actually had a new album come out recently so I imagine they will play some of those songs as well. Everyone should check it out. Timberland & Justin Timberlake worked on it with them, and it's really quite good.

I feel like going out with my collar turn up in some acid wash jeans and buying me some Blue Berry Frankenstein cereal since they dont make Smurf Berry crunch anymore.

The 80's rock bands are realizing they can maybe earn a little more money for their retirement with those who grew up on them and have kids to enjoy the experience with them.

If Rush, the Cars, or YES come in town for concert I am so there.

I actually drove from Raleigh to Fayetteville a few months ago to see AIR SUPPLY in concert! Hubby and I were some of the youngest people there! I loved it enough that I had to buy a CD! They were AMAZING! So I'll take that over the rap crap of today, anyday!!!

(singing...)Lost in love...

Vicki

Here's hoping snowpea can't get "Lost in Love' out of his/her head all day!

I can sing just about every one of the songs on francois' list. Seriously.

It was a great, free, fun time. Didn't we just think "She Blinded Me With Science" was ultra-cool?

Sweet dreams are made of this -- the 80s -- who are you to disagree?

Now I have to go fill in a few holes on my itunes list!
