"Ball and Chain" - Janis Joplin

One of the quintessential clips from the 60s - Janis Joplin at the Monterrey Pop Festival in 1967 ripping the crowd apart with her searing rendition of Big Mama Thornton's tune, "Ball and Chain". There has seldom been a performer with more raw power and the ability to communicate from inside a song.

This one is worth watching just to see Mama Cass Elliott at 3:30 and 5:30 with her mouth wide open and her chin on her chest in total Shock and Awe.
