All things considered I'd say Paul. Almost everyone agrees that John wrote better lyrics and Paul wrote better melodies, but I'd say Paul's best music is just that much more timeless than John's best lyrics. I fully understand why many prefer John though.

George, his songs separated from pop culture and became more meaningful, to me anyways. John my 2nd favorite, great talent.

I think Harrison's material will relate to people more as they get older...great lyrics about living life.

John for several reasons,he was behind the idea of refusing to play in a segregated audience,in Atlanta (GA),the Mayor backed up and accepted to allow black people to the beatles concert.

The Beatles never played South Africa because of apartheid but were banned in israel

Yes, as a guitar player myself, I find that his guitar work was just incredible. I think the longer I play, the more I grow to appreciate his skill in writing the guitar part to fit the song and not the other way around.

It's amazing how 50 years after they arrived to America, 44 years after they broke up, 34 years since John Lennon was killed and 13 years since George Harrison passed how much they're still a part of our conscious and every day life.

Like a buddy of mine said: everybody loves the Beatles, just not everyone realizes it yet.

George. He had the best singing voice of them IMO, and wasn't nearly as pretentious as John.
