Does software / hardware exist to take a recorded song and break it backwards into "tracks: (each layer of instruments, vocals) without access to the master? If so is this a commonplace ability with free or low cost software/ hardware or would it take pro level versions?
This might be an obvious question but it is not obvious to me.
Can this be done precisely or would the software "guess" and could it shift in terms of how close it got?
I saw a video where the presenter broke a song into tracks but I don't know what level of tools were required or if he had access to something other than the standard commercial version of the song.
I'd say now we haven't a good simple way or software to fulfill the task. The same is right for a voice removing from a song. We'll have a bad quality using a computer program.
But you can get some money (not more than one hundred dollars) to a digital musician and he will make a remake.
