chalkys and rarewaves are two big musci CD seller s on ebay. I've been wondering whether they are actually the same seller with different ids. Anyone has a clue? I'm asking because I had a bad experience with one and not the other, so wonder if it makes difference to stick with one.

I would say no since one has feedback of over 450,000 with around 40 negatives and 30 neutrals each month. Non events when they are getting over 4500 positives a month.

Why create a smaller account for other items?
The two accounts joined three years apart. Not the same seller in my opinion. Both have good feedback and should resolve any issue you have.

I had bad experience with chalkys. CDs and the cases were badly damaged. Instead of refund (even partial), they insist I send back the CDs, but they don't provide free postage for international return shipping.

According to Ebay rules the buyer pays return shipping for a full refund.
File a claim through Ebay.

I did file claim but what a hassle after many message exchanges with the seller. I believe the rule of buyer paying return is if it's not seller's fault.
