Yeah, don't be confusing Bonnie Raitt with that hack. Bonnie Raitt, if you recall, churned out the flawless "Nick of Time" album. I don't think there's a false note anywhere on that CD.

The other thread reminded me: "You Better You Bet" by the Who. That band was capable of so much better than that drivel. Argh.

I'm glad I un-acquired it during the 80s. A couple of early Doobies albums and some Steely Dan, and I'm good for the 70s.

Hey, the Allman Brothers are worth keeping, too.

Oh I second and third that! I am pretty tolerant of music, but this song makes you throw up a little in your mouth .

Was it the lyrics or what? That song sounds alot like Pete Townsend's solo stuff.

I really don`t mean to be cruel but that is where you show your ignorance..You don`t seem to be able to grasp the fact that at the time that was who they were...That in itself shows how good it was as they didn`t fiddle around in the bag of history to replicate past glory,,,It was new and it was them..THAT is what makes it good,,.....and smile..

Jessica Simpson proved that a couple of years ago - I'd never even heard of her until she married Nick (hadn't heard of him either though) and asked the whole chicken/fish question
