Was a crazy Donny Osmond fan in my early teens. I loved all his smoochy stuff....Why, Too young, Puppy love...still know every word to thise songs. Was never really big on his brothers, but loved their version of one bad apple. crazy horses and Jimmy singing long haired lover from Liverpool...
I was a kid....only a kid would enjoy Long haird lover from Liverpool

For those interested and watched the Osamond Family PBS show that has been on. My daughter found at Walmart some of that show on a cd for around 12.00. It doesn't have all the show on it but it has most of it. If you watched the speacial it was really expensive to donate and get it. I love it she gave me the CD. My 15 year old son doesn't but my two youger kids love YO YO.

A couple years ago The Flip Wilson Show was being aired on some network and The Osmond Brothers were on it. They sang Yo- Yo (I think that was the song), well anyways, they were really good! Of course the outfits were silly, but they gave The Jackson 5 some stiff competition.
I have a brother who is about 8 years older than I am and back then he couldn't stand them. Although he couldn't stand them, he thought Merrill (sp) Osmond had such a good rock n' roll voice. He thought Merrill should have gotten into the rock music instead of the bubblegum type music.

Actually this month on the Soap station they are showig a movie made about the Osmonds. They did want to get more into Rock. When Donnie became so big the brothers had to step back and take a back seat to them. It is very interesting if you like the family. It was on last weekend and I'm sure it is again this month.

I grew up listening to The Osmonds, and even watched their cartoon faithfully. I had the biggest crush on Donny (what can I say? I think I was 9 years old at the time! )
My favorite Osmonds songs:
One Bad Apple
Yo-Yo
Down by the Lazy River
Hold Her Tight
Let Me In
Love Me for a Reason
My favorite Donny songs:
Go Away Little Girl (although how old was the "little girl" he was singing about? Wasn't he 14 when that song came out? LOL.)
Sweet and Innocent
Puppy Love
Hey Girl
I still remember what that Donny Osmond album cover looked like. A picture of him sitting on a piano wearing a "groovy" pair of bellbottoms with an American flag pattern on them.
Addition: I was right; he was only 14 when that album came out. Now, why is it such trivia sticks in my head, but I can't remember to pay my bills?
