"Im so gangsta i eat the cereal without the milk" -Gangsta gangsta by Lil scrappy
"Im a gorilla on these h*es keep my lil pimpin straight on G mode"- Gangsta gangsta by Lil scrappy
When you're all alone and lonely
In your midnight hour
And you find that your soul
Its been up for sale
And you begin to think bout
All the things that you've done
And you begin to hate
Just bout everything
But remember the princess who lived on the hill
Who loved you even though she knew you was wrong
And right now she just might come shining through
And the -
- glory of love, glory of love
Glory of love, just might come through
For those who "walk to the beat of a different drum" or just think they do
Sinead (from UM)
Thank you for hearing me..
Thank you for loving me..
Thank you for seeing me..
And for not leaving me..
Thank you for staying with me..
Thanks for not hurting me..
You are gentle with me..
Thanks for silence with me...
Thank you for helping me....
(In my heart I feel it is a message from one angel to another.)
Riot on Empty Street from Kings of Convenience - the whole album is the soundtrack for this episode of my life. Even the (flaky) ending, which I'd have chosen to leave off, fits perfectly as it explains the name they've chosen for themselves.
well the first that i went out on my own
i was a young man almost seventeen right down to the day
well i packed up all my things
i grabbed my bag and kissed my mother
and i told her that i'd be back some day
so i jumped into the back of an 18-wheeler
headed north destination did not even ask
with the wisdom that my father gave me
ringin in my head so clearly
"son, this world's gonna kick you in the ass"
[Chorus]
i wanna go there
and i'm not scared
our time's just begun, oh yeah
life goes by so damn quickly for me
wanna have some fun
now lookin back on the all the days gone by
i said "i wonder what it would be like if i'd never went away"
well i see the world the way i do
the memories that brought me to
this place that i now call my home today
[Chorus]
i wanna go there
and i'm not scared
our time's just begun, oh yeah
life goes by so damn quickly for me
wanna have some fun
life goes by so damn quickly for me
wanna have some fun
So be in my head
when i feel my whole world falls apart
in the end i'll be alright, alright yeah yeah

I suppose I am as changeable as the variety of songs I might pick.
I've always liked this one, Dirty Life and Times by Warren Zevon.
Here is a snippet:
Some days I feel like my shadow's casting me
Some days the sun don't shine
Sometimes I wonder what tomorrow's gonna bring
When I think about my dirty life and times
One day I came to a fork in the road
Folks, I just couldn't go where I was told
Now they'll hunt me down and hang me for my crimes
If I tell about my dirty life and times
I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground
It's like no matter what i do
Well you drive me crazy half the time
The other half I'm only trying to
Let you know that what I feel is true
And I'm only me when I'm with you
Just a small town boy and girl
Living in a crazy world
Trying to figure out what is and isn't true
And I don't try to hide my tears
My secrets or my deepest fears
Through it all nobody gets me like you do
