As well you should be.

Kidding. "Close to You" is one of the first songs I remember hearing as a very wee one (along with Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone Again, Naturally") and I have fond memories of that song.

Creedence? That shouldn't be a secret, FlourChild! One of the best bands of all time. Greatest American band of the 60's? I'd say so.

Here are a few of mine:

Reo Speedwagon

DeBarge
Blimey Debarge! Rythm of the night wasn't it? Hit in the 80's here in the UK.

A couple of years ago I went out and bought a Dionne Warwick Compilation. Mostly Burt Bacharach / Hal David tunes; you know, the lighter side of pop. Good Gawd that lady could sing. To say her manner and delivery were understated would be an understatement. But she had it and used it sparingly. It's so refreshing to hear someone who could deliver a tune without making it all about herself.

I love ABBA. I liked them okay as a kid, but they were really popular in Russia and that's where they grew on me.

Neil Diamond. I once came across a Neil Diamond tribute band, but couldn't make the show.

The Bee Gees.

There is one J Lo song I like, but I couldn't tell you the name. I find that horribly embarrassing.

Like many people have said already, I secretly like Britney Spears music lol.

Her last album that came out in 2007 was extremely catchy. Especially the songs "Radar", "Toy Soldier", and "Hot As Ice".

Also boybands like NLT, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers, and NSYNC. Everyone talks crap about them and how they're all sell outs... but their music makes you feel good and fun to listen to.
