It's pretty evident you have no idea what you're talking about...

Ok so answer one question for me. Do you think that the Ying Yang twins shouuld be commended for saying "wait til you see my o" over and over again. That is literally the whole song. Oh and i dont care about it being explicit that has nothing to do with it. At least be creative with it. II would hate it just as much if they said something not vulgar over and over again because anyone can do that. Also, I dont believe I ever said that all rap sucks. I agree that there is good rap out there but you cant get around the fact that those guys represent rap in some way whether it is good or bad. Im not throwing the baby out with the bath water just saying that there are a lot of no talent ass clowns out there.

I don't think "hate" is the word. It's lack of interest. There's lack of interest because all kinds of rap has been exhausted and nothing new is coming out. Rap, like death metal, can only go so much on diversity or style. After that, it is boring already. Same old same old. Been there done that.

I am one of the people on here defending hip hop but mainstream hip hop blows. That is why I kept on harping on and on about how underground hip hop is way better. I even create hip hop poetry that is better than the mainstream garbage out there.

No I base the fact that I like some rap off that the fact that I actually listen to it before I decide if I don't like it. I don't like Tony Yayo doesn't mean I dislike all rap music. I don't lump all music under a blanket; I listen to a variety of different genres. I'll have Jay Z & Celine Dion on the same cd. Your comment was about the equivalent of me saying "I don't like country because the theme song for Hannah Montana is awful"

If you had read through ANY of the pages on this thread, everyone has admitted that there is some bad rap, we've admitted there is some awful rap. No one is commending the Ying Yang twins; I knew I would never be a fan of their music when I heard Whistle While You Twerk. So by you picking 2 crappy songs - one of which wasn't even rap - and putting them out there as if they have some bearing on the entire genre was kinda pointless.

I never lumped everything together and I never said the entire genre was bad. You are puting words in my mouth. But you are also acting as if there are only a few crappy songs out there. There are lots more and unfortunately again these all represent rap in some way even if they spoil it for others out there who are good. Oh and destiny's child is a GREAT RAP GROUP!!
