It wasn't that many years ago when the Rolling Stones brought out Bo Diddley on one of their tours. Diddley just wailed!! Another big figure in the early days of Rock and R and B, am saddened to learn of his passing. I don't really know where to start other than to say that his influence on a lot of the British Invasion people who made it big credit artists like Bo for them getting involved in music in the first place. RIP, Mr. Diddley.

Great choice McGowdog! Was watching NBC Nightly News just a few minutes ago which touched on his passing. Bo was just way ahead of his time. Several years ago Mick and the Stones brought him along on one of their tours. British rockers who sing his praises are plentiful; Eric Burdon, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Pete Townsend and lots of others credit artists like Bo Diddley for the reason they got involved in music in the first place.

I just heard the news...what a sad day. What has always angered me is the way he and other Black entertainers were cheated out of Millions....Etta James is another one who comes to mind... I love the woman. Isn't it Ironic that the Rolling Stones who give him so much credit still record and tour, when they really don't have to. Bo HAD to tour even in his bad health, because he was broke.
RIP Bo
Here ends my rant.
