I really like the jackson 5 stuff(maybe even more than his solo stuff)
but as solo stuff goes

Man I miss MJ. I don't think we appreciated him as much when he was alive now that he is gone. We took his soul for granted. He was such a pure heart. God rest his soul...I still can't believe he is gone. Grew up listening and watching him....Just still can't believe it.
When the song came out nobody understood it, and nobody really gave it much play at the time, at least not in the US. Overseas it was a hit because they all understood it and loved him for it - the American public was expecting another Thriller album. They didn't get that he was trying to evolve into something different. They also didn't understand the message behind the song, but when you listen to it a few times and remember what he was dealing with at the time (that was the pinnacle of the accusations and intrusions; I believe the Neverland invasion happened right around that time as well, and so many people turning on him, even his own sister), the message becomes quite clear. I still say it's his best work to this day, and I've heard every Michael Jackson song released.
