Right now in Austin for July:

Mellisa Etheridge
Journey, Cheap Trick and Heart
Bryan Adams and Foreigner
Pat Green and Carry Underwood
The Eagles
Judas Priest
Motley Crue
Kiss
Tom Petty
Kenny Chesney

Not to mention Lollapalooza Austin City Limits and the hundreds of local bands.

Not to mention some big names that I dont even consider music because it is not....like that snoop idiot.

Most of us would kill for some of the choices you have.

Yeah, where in the hell was that poster coming from, saying Austin doesn't have any music acts worth seeing? That's like saying San Antonio doesn't have any good mexican restaraunts! LOL. I'll be sitting backstage for Cheap Trick/Journey, btw. Back in the early '90's I did some session work with Robin Zander, when he was trying to put together a solo album. We still stay in touch, and I emailed home when I heard he and the boys were headin' our way.
