There's tons of great rock bands out there. They do not get the deserved promotion, but they are out there in bars and clubs across the country. A lot of the stuff listed on here is not my cup of tea, but I will agree on the White Stripes.

I have to admit that up until a few years ago, I thought all post 1989 music sucked, too. But there is a lot of good stuff out there you just have to look for it. I don't hear ANY radio stations playing this stuff.

I agree with the others who have said Black Keys & White Stripes are great bands. I also really like:

Thanks for all the info everyone! I can't wait to listen to some of this newer rock being posted. Too bad radio stations don't play some of it. I liked this the first time I heard it.
