Pop is a guilty pleasure of most people lol. It's catchy but can be cheesy especially early 2000's pop.

Anyways here are some of my favorites:

Britney Spears
Miley Cyrus
Jesse McCartney
Katy Perry
Lady Gaga

etc..

Don't know if Madonna counts as pop but I've always loved her. Human Nature is by far my favorite - the music makes me feel naughty - I think it was the black leather catsuit she wore in the video

There are so many I like. I always wind up coming back to Neil Diamond in the male pop music category. Although some of his 80's work is a little spotty, he recent material has been very strong. His "12 Songs" was surprisingly good. Even more surprising was Rolling Stone magazine giving a 5 star rating to the release. With the ladies, I'll stay with Linda Ronstadt. Her recent Lp's might not hit RIAA gold anymore, but I like everything she's done. Both artist started the same time on the music charts-1966. And both are still going strong today!

I would have to say Christina Aguilera, because she has such a fabulous Voice with such range and power. I never appreciated her until my daughter started listening to her and I took notice, I then realized, that her voice had matured the past few years and that she is indeed, very talented.

I dont agree with that new crap out there but Im going to give you the thumbs up here with Christina Aguilera. While I dont spend time listening to entire CDs from her I do have her one song "Hurt" recorded. DAMN is that a great song. I agree her voice has gotten better as she got older. I never repected her when she was younger and sang that tini-bopper crap. But now she can keep up with the best of em.

Kudoos to you Ladeebug !

Good grief! I wouldn't call Earth Wind & Fire pop, they are stone cold funk! Same goes for Bill Withers - not pop.
