My 5 favorite bands are Solitude Aeturnus,Candlemass,Therion,Hank Williams3,&King Diamond.I like so many others,like Savior Machine,Shooter Jennings,Iced Earth,etc...,but those would B my top 5.

What? They just didn't have a bass guitar player. Ray Manzerek played bass using a Fender Rhodes Keyboard. They also had lotsa guys in the studio on bass guitar for all but their first album. But I somehow think you knew all that...

It bespeaks a bad attitude to form a band without a bassplayer. I mean what were they thinking? They sure couldn't have been thinking about drive and rhythmatic power, maybe they were thinking artistic hippie business. I submit that playing basslines on organ or piano doesn't sound as good as a dedicated guy playing the electric (or Fender as we used to say) bass.
