Aerosmith- quit rocking years ago
Phil Collins-Disney songs?
Metallica-St Anger need i say more?
Michael Jackson-Not so good without Quincy Jones producing huh?
Def Leppard-You guys were selling 8-10 million each Cd now state fairs?
Rolling Stones-Only hardcore fans would care about anything they put out since 1980
Ozzy-please stop making Horrible Ballads
Prince-Your recent stuff is ok but Purple rain or Sign o the Times they are not.

You 'bout nailed it. Some of the best bands ever on this list and all of them just need to let it go, kind of like Brett Favre on another list.

Did Aerosmith record ANYTHING worth a crud since they gave up heroin?
"Love in an elevator", "Ragdoll"? Please!! Either stop making music or go back to chasing the dragon....

Madonna needs to retire. She looks and acts like a complete fool. It would be different if she had some actual talent to back it up. I used to love her, but now she is just palin sickening.

I reluctantly agree - once the Police broke up, his style of music totally changed - very disappointing to me since I was a fan back in the day.

If an artist is also a song writer they will get royalties for for lifetie plus 50 years. If the artist is only the performer then they only get royalities from record sales for ten years. The reason most artists hit the road is because unless the record is monster, by the time they get through paying back the record company and the various support people get their cut, the artist see very little money from record sales. The best money they get is from concerts and merchandise.
