Well, I voted for Nirvana, simply because Sublime was not an option.

The Clash. The only band that matters.

I chose Oasis, although had I been able to pick two, I would have ticked The Strokes as well. There are so many great bands out there that it's pretty hard to have a favourite. Oasis are great though, especially live

I went with the White Stripes. I really think Jack White is a supreme talent, a force to be reckoned with, we'll be hearing from him for years to come.
However, I sure do love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and several others in the poll.

Out of that list definitely ''Depeche Mode'' for me as they are one of my alltime favorite 80's New Wave band ever. Again they are New Wave and not Alternative Rock but i'm glad you put them on the list.

I'm not sure. I'm leaning toward R.E.M. Everything they did from the Chronic Town EP up to and including Automatic For The People is great, or at least very good.

I voted for the Chilis. They're musical geniuses and I will stand by what I said about Anthony Kiedis being the greatest lyricist around till the day I die.

The Clash for quality, R.E.M. for influence and U2 for longevity.

But I voted for R.E.M. because I liked their stuff best.
