Great thread and full of so many great songs (and memories). Here's one of my favorites from 1969. My apologies if it was posted, earlier.

Magic Bus and I Can See for Miles, The Who. I love the Who and I don't think we will ever see another drummer like Keith Moon or a bass player like John.

A few years ago, through Mary's new producer Billy Norton, I was invited to attend her comeback at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio. We stayed in the same hotel and met that morning at breakfast. Mary could not have been sweeter. She knew I was going to be there and had promised in an email that she was bringing something for me. She was true to her word and brought me an original button from the 60's signed by the girls.

I bought her record that night and her super nice hubby carried it backstage for me and had it autographed so we wouldn't have to wait around during the huge throng of people afterward. He surely did not have to do that but, said Mary considered me a special fan and wanted to be certain I was cared for. She made me feel so special. Everyone wanted to know where I got the button I was wearing and were amazed when I told them Mary had given it to me. I received several offers for it that night but, it will never leave my bookcase.

She was gracious and after overcoming opening night jitters of nearly 40 years, she did an amazing job. The house was packed and it was good to see there were so many Shang fans still out there.

Thanks Mary...I will never forget how special you made me feel.
