I love when VH1 does these countdowns, although I don't agree with all of their choices watching these videos brings back sooooo many memories of my childhood.

VH1 100 Greatest hip-hop songs

100.
Just A Friend - Biz Markie
99. Get Low- Lil Jon
98. Regulate- Warren G and Nate Dogg
97. Who's that Girl- Eve
96.
Parent's Just Don't Understand- Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff
95. L'Trimm- Cars With the Boom
94. Make Em Say Uggh- Master P and No Limit
93. Lapdance- N.E.R.D.
92.
You Can't Play With My Yoyo = Yoyo
91. Ridin- Chamillionare
90. They Reminisce Over You- Pete Rock and CL Smooth
89.
Oh Boy - Cam'ron
88. What U Waitin 4?- The Jungle Brothers
87. We Tryin to Stay Alive- Wyclef Jean
86.
Now That We Found Love- Heavy D and The Boyz
85. Definiton- Blackstar
84. Roxanne, Roxanne- U.T.F.O
83. Me So Horny- 2 Live Crew
82.
Treat Em Right- Chubb Rock
81.
Set Adrift On Memory Bliss- PM Dawn

I loved Heavy D! He was a big dude but he could dance and he was a cutie!

Aside from Lil John, Chamillionaire, N.E.R.D & Master P I think a lot of these songs were hip-hop classics, plus i think some of them were on the sound tracks for my fave movies. I miss this kind of music, PM Dawn just makes me feel good and Treat Em Right still makes me want to get up and dance. LOL I wonder if there will ever be a list without Parent's Just Don't Understand

Hmmmm sorry, maybe they won't release them until they've shown all 100 videos. I know they're counting down to the Hip-hop honors thing but other than that - you didn't like any of the songs in the top 80-100?

Default The next 20

80 Three 6 Mafia ft. Paula Campbell- "Hard Out Here For A Pimp"
79 DMX - "Ruff Ryders' Anthem (Stop Drop)"
78
Arrested Development - "Tennessee"
77 Cold Crush Brothers - "Cold Crush Bros. at the Dixie"
76 Big Punisher ft. Joe- "Still Not A Player"
75
Lil' Kim ft. Lil' Cease- "Crush on You"
74 EPMD - "You Gots To Chill"
73 Black Sheep - "The Choice Is Yours"
72
J.J. Fad - "Supersonic"
71 Whodini - "Freaks Come Out at Night"
70 3(rd) Bass - "Pop Goes the Weasel"
69
Common - "I Used to Love H.E.R."
68 T.I. - "What You Know"
67 Mase - "Feel So Good"
66 House Of Pain - "Jump Around"
65 Spoonie Gee and The Treacherous Three - "Love Rap"
64 The Roots - "What they Do"
63
Kid 'n Play - "Rollin' With Kid N Play"
62
Digable Planets - "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)"
61 Slick Rick - "Children's Story"

I never knew the name of that Kid N Play song until I saw this - i always thought it was "o la o la a" LOL I had to call my cousin when I saw the Super Sonic video - we begged my grandma to buy us sweaters like that. My childhood was so colorful

I wish they would have put some time frames on this because as much as I love T.I "What you Know" is not that great of a song. I can't imagine listening tot hat 5 years from now and saying "that's a classic"

lol i'm glad somebody besides me is enjoying it - i'm loving watching this. I wish they would show the whole video instead of just snippets - most of them are better than the crappy videos they playing now - but a snippet is better than nothing, I guess.

The comments are hilarious; seeing how these artists look now is a trip. Wyclef looks crazy without the dreads
