It's unfair. I'll take the actual rockers over the posers anyday.

Poser. noun. They are long-haired boys that like to put their lipstick and their makeup on and their rouge... and their eyeliner, and they like to bend over for each other and watch each other pose. Poison! Doutch Crew! You gotta be joking!

Easy, McGowdog..........Poison is actually one of the best live bands I've seen, and I've seen hundreds of shows from bands spanning every genre. They may not be the most talented musicians, and they could certainly be classified as "posers", but there's no denying they put on an incredible, energy packed performance every night.

C.C. DeVille has come a long way musically from where he was in 1986 when they released their first record.......so much so that I would attend a Poison show again (already seen them 5 times) just to see/hear him. He has developed some great chops to go with his fantastic stage presence. Bret Michaels has always been one of the most entertaining frontmen in hard rock.

Scared of what your tough guy buddies might think? Stay away from Poison then. Wanna go to a really good, exciting live rock n roll show? Check 'em out.

Saw Motley once, they were OK. Got no time for a band like GNR, as good as they were, that can't even keep it together for more than a couple tours before everything goes to hell and they break up.

I have to agree with Northman as i saw Poison with Cinderella and they did put on a great show. Also there was about 10 to 1 in Girls over us Guys as they were acting crazy as hell as it was a blast at that concert .

Some groups sound great in studio and yet in concert really sound bad as i remember most of them being staggering drunk towards the end of most concerts i saw.

Ratt and Cheap Trick was one of my alltime favorite concerts ever.

Poison was one of the absolute worst bands I have ever seen live. Maybe if they put more effort into the show than into their hair it would have been a different story.

I'm sorry y'all. I didn't like my booze watered down and I don't like my music watered down.

Glamour bands don't do it for me. I guess I could tolerate some Crew, but would prefer Ratt!

I didn't like watching my classic rock fade away into oblivion, but I was getting burnt on it anyway and I had to listen to something new; something fresh.

Enter STP, Nirvana, GNR,
Black Crowes. Something to pass the time till I could listen to those old 70s bands again.
