I can never watch & listen enough of this tune from the late/great Tito Puente (RIP).
The original "Morning" was from one of my old time favourites, the late/great Cal Tjader (RIP). Yet, it cannot be denied that Puente's rendition is possessed by a rare and incomparable flow and jazziness about it which just seems to make musical sense.
Tito Puente is and will forever be the eternal on stage "clown." When seeing him live, it was easy to appreciate how much he enjoyed the moment, the rhythm and the beat of his band's execution. In addition, please take pause and admire Michelle Camilo's piano solo. That is one man with fluidity, swing and dazzling pizzazz.
