Have you ever listen to a song and thought the artist said one thing but you made up the words or did you knowingly make up words either to be funny or make it sound better? Even songs that do not have words like the "House" theme.

There's a word for this, it's called "mondegreen"

Jimi Hendrix singing "'Scuse me, while I kiss this guy..."

I always heard "wrapped up like a douche in the middle of the night" when I listened to Blinded By The Light by Manfred Mann Band.

We are the champions my friend...
We'll keep on fighting til the end...
We are the champions...
We are the champions...
NO TIME FOR LOOSE TIMES, 'cause we are the champions of the world.

Circa:1978 (I thought that was the lyric)

Also thought that the real words to the MASH theme song was a prank ("Suicide Is Painless")

You have to remember that I was only five years old when I came up with...

"She made me wee wee."

The actual line: "She made me weary." It's an old Three Dog Night song.

My friends and I used to sing along with Bob Seger's Night Moves. As young men we were under strict obligation to change anything with a remote possibility for a laugh into utter nonsense.

Thus Night Moves became Nice B(.)(.)bs. There was no need to change any of the other lyrics.

"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to square peg again."
