This is indeed sad news. And he was only 61. One of the great rock drummers in any decade! RIP, Mitch.

I may be wrong about this, but I think this marks the first 60s rock band that is now entirely gone - RIP Mitch.

Great picture. Sad news. Mitch was one of those guys that made me look at the drums in a whole new way. Very distinctive sound. I learned a lot trying to keep up with those JHE records.

Just saw this. Geez, the experience is all deceased now. RIP gentlemen, thanks for the great music and shows you gave us all those years ago and still to this day we watch and we listen!!!
