Question What song do you have to turn off because it reminds you of a tragic event in your life?

I have many, especially now...

Am I alone?

(Arent we all? )

Many songs I cant listen to for recent-breakup reasons, but they wouldnt make me sad, they'd just remind me of a time that's past and an "us" that only exists in memory now. So I just leave it all there.

No tragic events.

I sat here thinking and thinking and could only come up with one.

32 years ago a garbage truck ran into my car. On the radio "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright was playing.

So here it is 3 years later when that song comes on I am reminded of a tragic event.

It took me three years to be able to listen to "No Shoe No Shirt No problem" by Kenny Chesney. Actually the whole album. Another Album was Norah "Jones Come Away With Me" especially "Turn Me On"

Everybody Hurts by R.E.M.

It was seeing heavy airplay when my Momma passed away. Can't listen to it.
