Most of my favorite bands are from the UK (usually English or Scottish), so I'm going with the UK. There's some good music from the US, but you won't find it on the radio. I've lately been into some music from Australia too, but they don't have as consistent an output. Every now & then I come across a good band from a non-English speaking country, but again, not as consistent as music from the UK and US even. I'm sure it all depends on your taste...I like indie rock, 80s alternative, dance rock, and other sub-genres that come under some of those categories (ie. shoegaze).

It has to be a dead heat tie between America and Great Britain.
What else is there really? Every dozen or so years a country other then GB or USA produces a hit heard around the world.

The US & UK for rock and roll... also like Spanish-gypsy flamenco singing and guitar and Spanish saetas, and I'd like to know more about the primitive music of every land.
