6). Fall Out Boy
7). Flyleaf
8). Three Days Grace
9). Papa Roach
10). Daughtry
You stole my list.

I really don't understand how people can listen to any of these bands, especially your top 5. I think I heard snippets from all 5 on my way to work this morning, before changing stations so I could listen to commercials.

Ouch. I love Paramore. I think Hailey has an incredible voice.
Oasis? Wowwwwwww

Three Doors Down, Papa Roach and Daughtry I an understand, but I like TDD and Daughtry and like a few Papa Roach songs.

At least for me, all of the whiny emo crap on the radio today for sure. Any death metal. I listened to some Arcade Fire after everyone kept remarking about how great they were, and I think they suck.

My general rule of thumb is that if the lead singer of a band asks the crowd to "put their middle fingers up in the air" there is a 100 percent chance that they suck.

Plenty of extremely talented rappers do that at shows.

I can agree and disagree with a lot of the choices on here but to list Crowded House is a shocker! The spinoff of Split Enz which included the Finn brothers, Neil and Tim, Nick Seymour , and Paul Hester were and still are a great band. Both Neil and Tim are superb songwriters on the level of Mcartney/Lennon. Paul Hester committed sucide sadly and the band decided to reunite. afterwards in his honor. Tim has been in and out as a band member. Currently he is not playing with them. The main constants have been Neil and Nick Seymour. Recently Neil's sons, Liam and Elroy have been playing in the band.

I'm sure it's a 'shocker'. But that is my taste in music. I cant 'name' any rap bands, you're right..I just don't like the music. Whether people agree or disagree was not the original question.

There's like one rap band, so if you're saying The Roots suck, then I know not to take you seriously...
