A male singer. Has the word "wishing" in the lyrics. Something like "wishing on a". I think it has to do with wishing to be together. Maybe 10 years ago.

For the life of me, I can not think of it. Any ideas??

It is not Bryan White, Wishing on a Star.

Not much of a country lover, but I don't think you are giving us enough to go by.

The only time I listen to country is when I'm at a NASCAR race. Sort of gets me in the zone....

LOL. This thread reminds me of that Married With Children episode where Al is trying to remember a song title and he goes thru the whole ep humming 'hmm hmm-HIM'...which eventually turns into '..go with HIM'. I think he finds out the name at the end of the show, if that helps any.

No, I don't know the song you're talking about. Just thought I 'd waste some of your thread speace.

there was a terence Trent D'Arby song with the lyrics "wishing well" and Dan Fogelberg had a rocking tune "wishing on the moon" from his 1979 album

"Wish you Were Here" - Mark Wills - 1998

Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near, I wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "hello, I miss you so, wish you were here"

Is this it?
