Help me out here, many years ago........around 1991, I was watching MTV and Wierd Al had his own show. It wasn't a WA video,but another band trying to do a serious rendition of Bohemian Raspody that was just so bad it made me cry laughing (which was the intent). Then again it was college so my mind was probably polluted in some form.
I guess I'm not up on my history. "Bad News" was another Spinal Tap sort of thing except based on a Heavy Metal band? I read some of the you tube comments that said this film came out first.
I love "Yankee Rose" by Van Halen. If you watch the beginning of it it's set in a convenience store, and the "typical" customers, as well as the cashier guy, are hilarious.
Yes, it's from the mid-80s, and yes, I acknowledge it was a while back, but I still love it!
Oh, that's such a good one! One time MTV had a show with all these comedians sitting in a room discussing videos MTV would never play again. They played that and one of them said, "Where are they? Home Depot?" So hilarious!
