A couple months ago I found a suitcase filled with cassettes that I made from the mid 70s to mid 80s. I've been going through it for a while rediscovering a lot of things (I, tragically, lost my entire vinyl collection in the early 90s -- 5000+ discs). I just pulled out an unlabeled tape and the first song on it was a German version of the Tubes' "White Punks on Dope" -- anyone have any idea where that came from?
Someone says in a comment, " Nina Hagen covered this song, although with German lyrics under the Title "TV Glotzer" - here: The Tubes - White Punks On Dope - Last.fm
