Default Remember when girls used to rock?

This thread is dedicated to all those women who used their talent to get to where they are now.
Thank you for making my 20's a time to be proud to be a woman and for knowing that T&A isn't always the way to go.

I only liked a couple of 90's alternative jams but this song is a bad ass song by ''Hole''.

this isn't a thread to say what songs are bad. but of course, this is c-d, what am i thinking. there's always going to be someone who has to disagree...that's why people post on these things, sigh...

anyway, i started this thread just for people to post talented women. so if anyone else has any girl bands, bands headed by women or solo women who didn't use their T&A instead of their talent to impress, please add. it doesn't matter whether i like the song or not, i just want to give respect. sheesh.

thanks

All girls use T&A in their show and that is part of the overall act. Well they use it to get what they want in life but this is about music. I can not think of any who gained fame simply by shaken it. Some gain a little fame by shaken it but talent will ultimatly gain them fame and greatness. So my list of great girl band rockers will not take into consideration what their bodies look like.

Best of show:

Bangles
Go Gos
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Shirelles
4 Non Blonds (oh yea !!!)
Bananarama
Ronettes
Diana Ross and theSupremes
Heart

Some of the bands listed here are the worst bands ever.

Sorry, but honestly, augggh. If this stuff is "Rock" then I gotta start getting into a different genre.

I don't listen to many female-led bands, but I do know that Alanis Morissette and Regina Spektor have more talent in their pinky than almost all of these bands.

No way! They're both horrible! I have despised ALanis ever since she fiorst came out. She is responsible for the downfall of women in our society. The Queen of the Feminazis! And, Regina Spektor is just some hogwash hag!

Sounds to me if we take your name and put a space in it and making 2 words from it, it kinda explains where your coming from:

Saturdays kids.
