Seeing Phanton is truly an experience unique to any other. I've been told in the Las Vegas modified version (30 minutes shorter), one of the props on the stage that is suspended in the air (don't want to say too much per chance others haven't seen this in person) comes together from four different directions.
What a show to see while in high school. It is hard for others to compete, otherwise it wouldn't be the longest running musical ever on Broadway. It says a lot that so many countries around the world have done the show true to the written form, except for two.
Glad we both like this music.

Yep my band director thought we were in the drum corp I would love to share a link but Youtube came out after I'd graduated (yes I'm old) but it is a great show. I saw it in Tampa and the prop that you mentioned was amazing I was glad to see it in the movie as well.
Anyway, I don't have much time to jump in the storyline - I should be packing right now as I'm typing - but I wanted to share a song.

A Rickenbacker bass has the most distinct sound of any bass on the market, IMO.
Of course it helps if you have the talent to play it as well as the guy in the video, which is extremely difficult.
