Gosh, of all time...man, this is hard...

Guitar: I like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Dick Dale, Link Wray, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lars Fredriksen, Chuck Berry, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King

Bass: Matt Freeman, Flea

Drums: Too many to list...goodness gracious!

Vocals: Too many to list, but most of the ones I like are female rockabilly singers from the 1950's: Wanda Jackson, Lorrie Collins, Janis Martin, etc. I'm also a big Johnny Cash fan

My music exposure is different (classical, big band, jazz) so here are my picks (although there are so many greats it's hard to pick absolute favorites:

Best Lead Singer.....Lynn Roberts (Tommy Dorsey band) 'til this day one of the best female vocalists; Marilyn Horne (mezzo-soprano); Maureen McGovern who has amazing pitch & range and of course ELLA!!!!

Best Guitarist.........Andres Segovia, Chet Atkins, Earl Klugh

Best Bass ............Bobby Haggart (he wrote What's New); Carlitos del Puerto (young Cuban musician...fantastic!); John Patitucci

Best Drummer .......Buddy Rich/Ed Shaughnessy

Keyboard..............Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Dave Gruisin, Arthur Rubenstein, Vladimir Horowitz

Isn't Rush's drummer Neil Peart?
Thumbs up to those who mentioned Flea and Buddy Rich.
