Arrow Name *1* GREATEST SONG ever written. One post per each member.

What, in your opinion, are the absolute greatest songs ever written? By that, I mean songs that rise above those you list as your favorites--songs that no matter how much time passes you never tire of them and feel you never will.

For instance, I have dozens, probably hundreds, of favorites. But there are only a handful of songs that are so good I wish no one would talk through them around me. It's a much shorter list. What's on your list?

I don't get it, why only one? I have a small handful.

I'm making a playlist out of the songs added so make them good ones. Looks like it's gonna be a shorter list than I'd hoped for.

I have so many but this is always in my top 5 "He Stopped Loving Her Today" written by Bobby Braddock and Curly Putman and OWEND by George Jones

I once had a drunk who insisted on picking his guitar and singing to me in a bar in some little hick town, I had stopped for the night while driving from Texas to California
