I hope this thread hasn't already been done!

I would like to hear about some one hit wonders that may not be so well known...I'm not talking about Mickey, or Too Shy Shy here, or the other ones that the 80's flashback hours play nonstop...I want to hear some that maybe I haven't heard since the 80's, or maybe ones I don't remember at all!

Here's my addition:

YouTube - Midnight Oil - Beds are Burning

Have fun with it!

I don't know that I would call Midnight Oil a one hit wonder. They had a hugely successful career that spanned a lot of years and several albums. I thought they were fairly well known internationally as well, but maybe it was just here.

Here's one I dug up....

YouTube - Tired of toein' the line - Rocky Burnette

While those are all good songs, I wouldn't exactly call them "not so well known."

My contributions:
-Turning Japanese
-Pac-Man Fever
-Genius of Love
-Valley Girl

Falco (Der Kommissar) had a lot of Number one songs after his first hit.

CAMEO - Word up!

Great stuff, everyone! Regarding Midnight Oil, they only had that one hit in America...so to us, they are a one hit wonder. I never knew Falco sang Der Kommissar...I always think of the 1983 After The Fire version. The only song I ever knew from Falco was Rock Me Amadeus.

Here's another one:

YouTube - Tracey Ullman - They Don't Know (Music Video)

I had no ideas Tracy Ullman had a singing career.

also (Tier1304) Cameo had heaps of hits.
I like a lot of their stuff....not sure if they ever made the charts though.
Cameo~ We're Going Out Tonight (funny...unintentionally so....)
