While Blondie and The Cars first introduced me to the New Wave style in the late 70's it was this cassette ''Wild Planet'' by the B-52's in 1981 that someone turned me onto that really molded me a New Waver as i knew i was hooked afterwards. Hits like ... Devil's in my Car, Quiche Lorraine, Strobe Lite, Party Gone Out of Bounds and of course Private Idaho. It makes wanna dance .

I didn't have a '49 Mercury but I did have a '69 Mustang when I was in high school in the 80's and always cranked this song up whenever I was cruising around.
