Thanks for sharing these! I love Tool and,

LOL, aw, very sweet of you to humor my obsessions! Here are just a few of my favorite songs:
Gothic Metal - Therion - Birth of Venus - (Sweden)

your favorite songs by A Perfect Circle for sure!
It's fun to post Metal groups that mean something
to you... I very much enjoyed your Tool
selections
... my own mood now is for theatre... so that
means Gothic Metal I reach for... Swedes...
(in early days this group was Death Metal )
Therion - Birth of Venus - Illegitima
(Gothic Metal- Swedish)- album Vovin 1998
I admire you young people because you have to go through so much more than any of us had to at the same age.
It's young in heart or young people who want to share ... not a bunch of old farts... agewise I'm probably the oldest but you won't catch me in a corner scratching my navel :: roar of rough laughter :: You want to stay young, hang out with young people...
Also thanks, MMC, for posting Bloodrock... means a lot to me ... not heard in over 30 years.... would never play it myself ... yearned to hear it in memory of so many buddies... Thank you.
I was surprised... hadn't heard Esham ... can definitely hear metal influence and see how others were influenced by him ... would advise strengthening the guitar and drum to emphasize metal
Due to '60s and '70s, I'm sensitive to Stoner and Sludge fusion ...like doom, heavy base, somewhat slow tempo...
Yes ... understand that people were doing various illegal things ... many times music reflected a person's lifestyle ... that's all I'll say, since I never smoked anything stronger than a cigar in my life :: rough laughter ::
Now to broaden your understanding, see if you can find anything by Flower Travellin Band (sludge oriented) 1970 LP Anywhere. I'm getting old but I think it's 1970... anyway ... Anywhere...
:: stretches :: that's enough homework from me... You've got one voracious mind there, ok.. enjoy Helloween and then you've got to do some work since I forced you out last night :: roar of laughter :: so don't stay on listening to heavy metal half the night... oh d*** starting to talk like a grandfather...
Let me get out of here, everybody.... :: rough roar of laughter ::
