for me its east coast. NYC beats outs the whole west alone in my opinion

That's because West has the better underground scene,whereas NY's best rappers are all well known.

Both are VERY good. I'd have to go with the Eastcoast but the Bay Area is one of my favorite regions and so underrated and underappreciated. Basically influenced the Houston movement.

All the West Coast has is SoCal. The rest of the west coast doesn't have much of a Hip Hop influence.
