as far as va that's kinda stuck in between b/c u got the clipse and pharrel who are associated with the eastcoast and then u got timbaland who is more associated with southern rap. It's like stl rappers, they're still mid-west but they have more of a southern style compared to chicago,detroit, and ohio
I heard some stuff from baltimore like last weekend and they sound more like eastcoast dudes
Mid west is the best right now the south owns Mainstreet right now.The gtood artist are from the mid west and are very under played or not even heard of!
The South honestly, Killed rap from what it used to be New Yorks hip hop and LA's Gangsta rap was the real good stuff. That is what I call rap not todays South crap all about Girls, sex, and stupid dance moves. Hopefully Rap will change again.
