Ya'll fans of east coast rap are the definition of haters! Pac has some great lyrics in most all his songs, I don't need to post them on here just so you guys can shoot them down. Regardless of who is better lyrically, PAC was a WAY MORE INFLUENTIAL a rapper than anyone who has ever touched the mic.
I like West Coast rap but East coast rap is all about the lyrics! From Rakin to KRS ONE! Lyrics make a great rap song. That's why ***** is still around after all these years. Don't get me wrong, I think Tupac was a beast. He was able to put all of his emotions into his music. He's definitely top ten He may not have a had great lyrics or flow but he brought so many other intangibles to the table. I just think BIG was better. But that's my opinion.
The East Rapper started the battle though. The West was banging the charts and the east didn't respect that. The East didn't respect the Westcoast. This is exactly what happen. Is it jealously or what?
This is one of my favorite freestyles, just having fun with it.
I still like both coasts though.
