And I was sure we would get some Rick Astley here for "never," what with rickrolling and all.

Heaven on the Seventh Floor - Can't remember who sang it, but it's a fun song.
Seven Chinese Brothers - REM
The Magnificent Seven - The Clash

That's all I've got!

The Spider & The Fly ~ Someone set the poem to music. I heard it in the horror film "Dead Souls" but do not know who sings it. It became drummed into people's heads if they watch Chiller Channel, as part of it is used in the trailer they air for it.
There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly ~ traditional/folk song (mainly for children as a memory game I guess)
I've Never Seen an Elephant Fly from "Dumbo"
Gonna Fly Now ~ theme song from "Rocky"
Let's Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins
You Can Fly! from Disney's Peter Pan
Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra
Fly, Robin, Fly by Silver Convention
Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra
Learning How to Fly by Pink Floyd
Fly High, Michelle by Enuff Z'Nuff
Fly to the Angels by Slaughter
I'll Fly Away ~ gospel song
Fly Away by John Denver
Fly by Night by Rush

Tonight, I seem to be thinking of more, or maybe it's an especially good word. I haven't even used "flying"=}

try

I don't know who did the original, but it was covered by The Rolling Stones. Was the same version used both in "Dead Souls" and for the ChillerChannel trailer?

The Stones' version was known to be the favorite song of Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper. It was the flip side of "Satisfaction" on the UK single. The U.S. single was released a few months earlier, with the flip side being "The Under-Assistant West Coast Promotion Man". When the single was released in the UK, the flip side was changed because the Stones' record company figured that NObody in England would possibly have any idea of just what an under-assistant west coast promotion man was.

Try A Little Tenderness - Jack Webb/Otis Redding

^^^That's definitely not anything like it! This song is haunting and eerie but lovely, not some bluesy number. That song would be a sore thumb in the atmosphere of "Dead Souls"! There's more to the song, but I can't find a copy, just part of it used in the trailer:

DEAD SOULS - Teaser Trailer - YouTube

Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On by Jerry Lee Lewis
Shake, Rattle & Roll by Bill Haley & The Comets
Shake It Up by The Cars
