The Score by the Fugees is a favorite of mine. What happened to female emcees?
I dunno but I've got a feeling Foxy Brown and Little Kim kinda blew it with the intense sexual lyrics (especially for new ones coming up).. and of course Lauryn Hill doesn't have her stuff together anymore.. what happened to Lauryn?
Idk what happened but I think she (L. Hill) is amazing with her singing and rapping abilities. I feel for the younger generation who didn't grow up to hear her on the radio.

Well.. personally, I hope that Rap does a 360 and gets back to more positive cultural messages.. maybe I'm just out of it but Rap seems kinda hollow to me atm. Variety is good though.. don't get me wrong. Maybe I'm just getting older, lol... seems to be the pattern, right? When you start to lose an appreciation for current music.. you've become part of the 'aging'.
Yeah.. I was into Foxy for a minute til it seemed she had a sex down (show down, lol) with Little Kim. Late 90s.. I think she peaked. Then it was just Missy Elliot, the Brat, and Lauryn.. I believe. The Brat comes off a bit juvenile (go figure).. Missy had some great catchy tunes and.. well, I dunno what happened to Lauryn. Any new good female artists out there?
