She was my best friend, confidant and go-to gal. I taught her many things, many tricks and in exchange she taught me something invaluable - she taught me to love in a way no human could. Over the weekend she, my dog, died unexpectedly in my arms. This song came to mind as I held her - this is for Sydney. May everyone be so lucky to experience love like this in their lifetime.
{come to you quickly Thursday007... your ache for
a moment my own... tears fall in shared memories
of lost...for we all contribute to that communal pool
of pain...}
bring arms around you... around your girl in your arms...
your love there in your arms... kisses you both... grief
and love... aching your loss... our language only tears
now... so much love between you... so much love to
be honored still... so much love...
If ever you need to see her face... to feel her warmth
again... this place... this thread... will welcome and
keep holy that union... we care...
For Thursday .... - It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday
::: in hushed quiet... gently honors the gift of love between
Thursday and her dear Sydney...
:: tenderly whispers... hearts grow with pain and laughter...
fresh cares and delight will come...
::: eyes filling with tears::: enfolding you in warmth and care...
:: nods to all who have touched these feelings ...
calling memories to carry tears...
Sydney has all the love from all her days...with you....
and that is forever....
