help with lyrics, song ID
I'm trying to get the title for a song that includes the lyrics -
milk and honey days...... San Francisco ways
if you can't put a name to the song, can you suggest the artist?
The song would have been recorded back in the late 60's.
Thanks (I seem to have a gap in my memory for that time frame).

Sorry - don't know the song but had to comment on your statement about the memory gap...
I once had someone tell me that if you remember the 60's you weren't really there.

Ok - you got me curious so I googled it. The song is San Francisco Girls by Fever Tree. I have no memory of it whatsoever. That 60's thing I guess!

Janetvj is right. It's a GREAT song by a group that had a TON of potential but just didn't make it. The song charted in my area around September 1968. I posted on other threads on this forum about the group. Google their history, lots of good info there!
That lp and the second one, Another Time, Another Place is available as a "twofer" from Collectors Choice. Should be on Amazon. I recommend it!

My husband has this thing on his cell phone that let's him find the name of songs that are playing...
I'm not explaining this very well.... lemme look it up...
OK it's this: V CAST Song ID
It is so cool!! It not only gives us the name/artist but you can also sometimes download the song to his phone... if there are ringtones or ringback tones you can grab those, too.
